The Lining Does The Work

Face fabric sets the look. The lining decides how the room behaves. Dim-out removes most of the light but still glows at the edges, three-pass blackout stops it, and a thermal lining takes real heat off a west-facing pane before the AC has to deal with it. We quote linings separately so the cost is visible.

Where A Motor Finds Power

Nobody wants walls chased in a finished apartment. Rechargeable tube motors handle most bedroom curtains and run one to two years between charges. For long or heavy living room runs we prefer hardwired, which means locating the nearest ceiling point during the measure rather than discovering there isn’t one on install day.

How We Measure An Al Reem Apartment

We laser the drop at three points across every run, because floors and ceilings in tower apartments are rarely level end to end. A curtain cut from a single measurement on a six-metre window will touch the floor at one side and hang short at the other.

Before quoting a ceiling track we open the void and check what sits behind the gypsum. Reem ceilings carry AC ducting and sprinkler pipework, and a fixing driven blind into a sprinkler line is an expensive afternoon. It also confirms whether we can reach the slab or need a spreader plate.

Most towers here want an NOC from the owners association and a booked service lift before we arrive with four-metre track sections. We arrange both, but raise it at the visit rather than the day before, because lift slots on this island usually run a few days out.
