Trent (AED 450, China) suits budget bedrooms and light fabrics. Bolt (AED 750, China) adds smoother, sturdier daily performance. Motion (AED 1,150, Netherlands) is our quietest, most refined European option, and Somfy (AED 1,300, France) is the benchmark for villas. We advise during measurement.

Warranty follows the motor. Trent carries three years, Bolt five years with replacement cover, Somfy five years, and Motion the longest at seven. All are backed by our Dubai service team, so any fault is handled at your home, free of charge while covered.

In most cases, yes. If your curtains hang on a motor-compatible aluminium track, we replace the lead glider with the motor and keep your existing fabric, which removes the fabric cost entirely. Older budget tracks usually need replacing to prevent skipping. Only the motor is chargeable.

Nothing gets stuck. Every motor we supply includes a manual override, so the curtain can be moved by hand until power returns, and settings are never lost. Rechargeable models continue running normally during an outage. We explain this on installation day.

Yes. Motion and Somfy motors pair with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit, and Somfy also integrates with KNX and Control4 systems in villas. Trent and Bolt operate by remote and wall switch, with app control available through an optional hub we configure for you.

Quality motors run at roughly 30–40 decibels, quieter than an air conditioner on low. Motion and Somfy are the quietest and are what we recommend for bedrooms and media rooms. Bring the decision to your home visit; we run sample motors, so you hear each one.

Yes, provided the motor is sized correctly. Wide sliding doors, double-height villa windows, and heavy blackout or velvet panels need the torque of Motion or Somfy rather than an entry-level unit. We weigh the fabric and measure the track before recommending, so the motor is never undersized.

Allow roughly 3 to 4 working days. Measurement is usually booked within 24–48 hours, stitching and motor preparation take most of the period, and fitting is finished in a single visit for apartments or two to three days for larger villas, including full handover training.

Yes. Rechargeable motors need no wiring, no chasing of walls, and no landlord electrical approval, which is why most tenants choose them. Tracks fix with a few discreet anchor points, and the whole system can be removed and refitted in your next home without damage.
