We motorize curtains in Dubai across 4500+ fabrics, 3 header styles, and endless colours. Choose the look you want, we fit it to the world’s most trusted motor brands, then set up app, remote, or voice control and hand it over working.
Every window needs a different motor and fabric. Pick yours and we will show what we usually fit.
Full darkness on schedule, so bedrooms stay dark past sunrise without anyone waking up.
Light sheer panels glide open at dawn, filtering glare while keeping your outside view.
Wide sliding doors open with one button, no pulling heavy panels across long tracks.
Quiet motors near 35 decibels, paired to your alarm so mornings start with daylight.
Heavy layered fabric cuts road noise, carried by motors sized for the extra weight.
Even S-folds stack neatly every time, because the motor moves fabric at consistent speed.
Fabric weight decides which motor you need. A 350 gsm velvet pulls very differently to a 50 gsm voile, so we match the motor to the fabric before quoting.
| FABRIC | GSM | BLOCKS | UPF | SUPPLIER | SUITS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Triple-weave blackout | 280 | 99–100% | 50+ | Alkilani | Bolt and above |
| Thermal blackout | 300 | 98–99% | 50+ | York Fabric | Bolt and above |
| Foam-backed blackout | 320 | 100% | 50+ | Al Nassaj | Motion or Somfy |
| Velvet blackout | 350 | 98–99% | 50+ | Guthmi | Motion or Somfy |
| Plain polyester voile | 45–60 | 12–20% | 10–15 | Alkilani | Any motor |
| Linen-look sheer | 95–120 | 32–45% | 15–20 | Alkilani | Any motor |
| Embroidered sheer | 100–135 | 35–50% | 20–30 | Guthmi | Any motor |
| Solar screen sheer (5–10% openness) | 200–300 | 85–92% | 50+ | York Fabric | Bolt and above |
Running sheer and blackout together on one dual track? The motor carries both panels, so we size it on the combined weight, not the heavier fabric alone.
Wave, pinch pleat, eyelet or pencil pleat, each header style decides how the fabric falls.
Every motorised curtain we make starts from your measurements, never a standard size. Choose blackout, linen, velvet, jacquard or sheer fabric, in shades from ivory, beige and warm grey to olive, navy and charcoal. Pick a wave, pinch pleat, eyelet or pencil pleat header. Then select your motor from Trent, Bolt, Motion or Somfy.
How you run it: remote, wall switch, mobile app, voice command or daily schedule. Widths up to 10 metres, floor-skimming heights, single or dual tracks for sheer and blackout together.
The motor decides how quietly the curtain runs, how much weight it carries, and how long the warranty covers you.

Ready-made panels stop at standard drops. Dubai windows often do not. This is the single most common reason standard sized curtain fails here.
| WINDOW TYPE | RELATIVE DROP | DROP | READY-MADE? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard apartment | 220–240 cm | Sometimes | |
| Tall apartment | 270 cm | Rarely | |
| Floor-to-ceiling | 300 cm | No | |
| Double-height villa | 350 cm+ | No | |
| Atrium or majlis | 400 cm+ | No |
Most fabric comes on a roll about 280–300cm wide. Beyond that drop, the fabric has to be railroaded or seamed, and the track has to carry real weight.
A 4m living-room slider needs fabric width of roughly 8m once fullness is added. That is several panels joined, matched at the pattern, and hung so the joins do not read as seams.
We have a wide range of soft, warm, and neutral shades for lightweight fabrics
Based on the motors and tracks we fit ourselves, compared on how each one performs at the window over years of daily use.
| FEATURE | Motorised Curtains | Manual Curtains |
|---|---|---|
| Daily operation | One button or voice command | Pull by hand, every window |
| Tall windows | Reaches 5m without a ladder | Needs stretching or climbing |
| Scheduling | Opens and closes on set times | Only when someone is home |
| Fabric wear | Load spread evenly on track | Leading edge frays over time |
| Child and pet safety | No cords at all | Hanging cords within reach |
| Wide sliding doors | Motor carries the full weight | Heavy drag, uneven stacking |
| Heat control | Auto-closes before peak sun | Depends on remembering |
| Starting cost | From AED 450 per motor | Track and hardware only |

Good fabric range and honest pricing. The guys arrived on time and finished three rooms in about an hour. Would use again.
I recently got curtains for my living room and bedrooms and blinds for my kitchen. The work was done very quickly in a few days of me contacting them. The quality of the material is also very good. Overall the work and the product was very nice. I would recommend
Ordered blackout curtains for two bedrooms. Team measured on Monday, installed by Friday. Fitting was clean, no marks on walls. Very happy.
Most motor problems start on installation day, not years later. Here’s exactly what our team does at your window, and how long each stage takes.
We check window width, fabric weight, and your nearest power point, then match the motor to the load. Wrong motor, and the curtain gives up halfway.
Ceiling type decides the bracket, so we test for concrete or gypsum, confirm your 220V feed or switch you to rechargeable, and mark the exact track line.
Our technicians cut the track to your window size and set the belt tension. We stitch panels to motorised glider spacing, so nothing drags or skips.
Our skilled technicians set the stop points, integrate with the remote, app & voice assistant, then hand over only once you’ve tried it yourself.
Free home visit anywhere we work, same workshop, same installers, same warranty in all three emirates.
Total cost is fabric plus motor. Motorised curtain fabric runs AED 65–120 per metre, while motors start at AED 450 for our Trent model and reach AED 1,300 for French-made Somfy. Once we measure your window free of charge, you receive one fixed, itemised quotation.
Trent (AED 450, China) suits budget bedrooms and light fabrics. Bolt (AED 750, China) adds smoother, sturdier daily performance. Motion (AED 1,150, Netherlands) is our quietest, most refined European option, and Somfy (AED 1,300, France) is the benchmark for villas. We advise during measurement.
Warranty follows the motor. Trent carries three years, Bolt five years with replacement cover, Somfy five years, and Motion the longest at seven. All are backed by our Dubai service team, so any fault is handled at your home, free of charge while covered.
In most cases, yes. If your curtains hang on a motor-compatible aluminium track, we replace the lead glider with the motor and keep your existing fabric, which removes the fabric cost entirely. Older budget tracks usually need replacing to prevent skipping. Only the motor is chargeable.
Nothing gets stuck. Every motor we supply includes a manual override, so the curtain can be moved by hand until power returns, and settings are never lost. Rechargeable models continue running normally during an outage. We explain this on installation day.
Yes. Motion and Somfy motors pair with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit, and Somfy also integrates with KNX and Control4 systems in villas. Trent and Bolt operate by remote and wall switch, with app control available through an optional hub we configure for you.
Quality motors run at roughly 30–40 decibels, quieter than an air conditioner on low. Motion and Somfy are the quietest and are what we recommend for bedrooms and media rooms. Bring the decision to your home visit; we run sample motors, so you hear each one.
Yes, provided the motor is sized correctly. Wide sliding doors, double-height villa windows, and heavy blackout or velvet panels need the torque of Motion or Somfy rather than an entry-level unit. We weigh the fabric and measure the track before recommending, so the motor is never undersized.
Allow roughly 3 to 4 working days. Measurement is usually booked within 24–48 hours, stitching and motor preparation take most of the period, and fitting is finished in a single visit for apartments or two to three days for larger villas, including full handover training.
Yes. Rechargeable motors need no wiring, no chasing of walls, and no landlord electrical approval, which is why most tenants choose them. Tracks fix with a few discreet anchor points, and the whole system can be removed and refitted in your next home without damage.
